Growing up, my mama used to play it every morning before school; it was the soundtrack of my childhood. My obsession w/ space started when she gave me a book abt how the universe works when I was 8/9. I just dropped my mom off at the airport this morning and the sadness is starting to hit me now that I’m home. I did not see her in person for three years, and I was only able to spend time with her for three weeks. I could never get used to the feeling of parting ways with my mom for a really long time, even when I’m already a grown adult.
I love you mom, I hope to see you again next year.
